PETROL ENGINE MODEL
Petrol Engine Model is a type of internal combustion engine which completes a power cycle with two strokesĀ of the piston during only one crankshaft revolution. This is in contrast to a “four-stroke engine”, which requires four strokes of the piston to complete a power cycle during two crankshaft revolutions. In a two-stroke engine, the end of the combustion stroke and the beginning of the compression stroke happen simultaneously, with the intake and exhaust functions occurring at the same time.
- Petrol Engine Model 2 stroke – Model, Petrol Engine, Two Stroke The open construction for easy visualization of the concept of working of a two stroke, air-cooled petrol engine. All parts made of metal.
- Shows functioning of various parts of the engine, such as cylinder-piston, crank, carburetor, fuel supply etc., and conversion of linear motion of piston rod to the circular motion at the crankshaft.
- Simulated ignition through spark plug is shown by an indicator lamp.
- Color coded 4 mm socket terminal provided on the base for power input to the indicator lamp.
- Its important components and functioning explained on the key card mounted at the base.
